This lecture uncovers the hidden world of mineral crystals, exploring how they grow, why they take on such diverse forms, and how they contribute to the products, technologies, and resources we rely on every day.
Join celebrated theatre designer and architect Teresa Przybylski in conversation with Matthew Jocelyn, General Director of Koffler Arts, for a discussion about how Jocelyn’s vision of transforming Koffler Gallery into a warm, living room space for winter, and Przybylski’s design approach, came together to create an inviting setting to experience William Kentridge’s film series, Self-Portrait as a Coffee Pot.
Teresa Przybylski is known for her designs in theatre, opera, dance and film. Przybylski’s credits include designs for National Arts Centre, Stratford Shakespeare Festival, and Canadian Opera Company among many. She has been awarded five Dora Mavor Moore Awards and two Gemini Awards. Przybylski is a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts and Associated Designers of Canada, and she teaches Theatre Design at York University.
