Monday, April 28 – ANNIE at Stratford Festival
“You’re Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile.”
Annie has reigned as one of the world’s most beloved family musicals since its original six-year Broadway run. Annie Bennett is the iconic mop-topped orphan who knows the sun will come out tomorrow for her, no matter how dark it gets today. (Even if “today” is under the domain of Miss Hannigan, the caretaker of the orphanage and an over-the-top misopedist.) When Annie and her scrappy dog, Sandy, are taken in by the secretary of the billionaire Daddy Warbucks, the girl’s lifelong search to find her birth parents sets off a chain of wacky, heartwarming adventures.

Tuesday, May 6 – CRAZY FOR YOU at Cambridge Hamilton Family Theatre
“The Gershwin Musical Comedy”
Put on your dancing shoes because Crazy for You – the multiple Tony Award®-winning, romantic musical comedy – is lighting up Cambridge with its sublime songs, snappy script full of one-liners, and dynamic tap routines.
New York banker Bobby Child is sent to Deadrock, Nevada, to foreclose on a rundown theatre where he falls for spunky Polly Baker, the theatre owner’s daughter. She takes an instant dislike to the city slicker, so Bobby vows – through cunning, razzmatazz, and a hilarious case of mistaken identity – to win Polly’s heart, save the theatre, and renew the town.
A celebration of musical theatre at its finest, the glorious Gershwin melodies include “I Got Rhythm,” “They Can’t Take That Away from Me,” “Embraceable You,” “Nice Work If You Can Get It” and “Someone to Watch Over Me.”

Wednesday, May 14 – ANYTHING GOES at Niagara-On-The-Lake Shaw Festival
“A boatload full of comedy, Cole Porter and Capers! On This ship, anything goes!”
Set sail on the S.S. American! This dazzling production breathes new life into Cole Porter’s timeless tale of romance, intrigue and high-seas hijinks. Follow the delightful antics of Reno Sweeney, a spirited nightclub singer, as she navigates love triangles, mistaken identities and comical misunderstandings on a transatlantic voyage. Featuring beloved songs like “It’s De-Lovely,” “You’re the Top,” and the showstopping title number “Anything Goes,” this fresh revival brims with spectacular dance numbers and non-stop laughter.

Thursday, June 5 – THE FULL MONTY at St. Jacob’s Country Playhouse
“Sometimes you just have to bare everything ….”
Based on the cult hit film of the same name, this 10-time Tony Award®-winning musical comedy will have you laughing and cheering all the way to its revealing ending!
While spying on their wives at a Girls’ Night Out, a group of unemployed steelworkers are inspired to make some quick cash by forming a team of amateur male strippers with ‘real man’ bodies. But rehearsals aren’t easy, and in preparing for the big show, the guys find themselves fully exposed – physically and emotionally. Can these lovable misfits really pull it off?
Find out for yourself in this boisterous, fun-filled pop-rock musical send-up of gender expectations and stereotypes. With its winning mix of razor-sharp humour and engaging melodies, and a sweet message about leaning into friendship to overcome your fears, The Full Monty is an outrageously fun production that will charm the pants off you.

Wednesday, June 18 – WAITRESS at Port Hope Cameco Capitol Arts Centre
“A heart-filled and hilarious musical about finding a voice.”
Waitress tells the story of Jenna, an expert pie-maker who dreams of a way out of her small town and rocky marriage by entering a pie competition. But when she meets her new doctor, her plans get more complicated, and sugar, butter, and flour simply won’t solve this conundrum. Featuring music and lyrics by Sara Bareilles, Waitress is the hit musical that’s “a little slice of heaven” (Entertainment Weekly).

Thursday, August 14 – THE SOUND OF SOUL at St. Jacob’s Country Playhouse
“A Non-Stop Hit Parade”
Get ready to move and groove in this electrifying retrospective of the greatest soul singers of all time.
The Sound of Soul features the “Soul Man” himself – Broadway (and Drayton Entertainment) star Lee Siegel – and friends. Along with a stellar band, you’ll be transported back in time as we pay tribute to 20 of the defining voices of the genre – iconic artists such as Stevie Wonder, Ray Charles, Marvin Gaye, Smokey Robinson, Sam Cooke, Bill Withers, Otis Redding, Percy Sledge, Edwin Starr, and more.
With its roots in gospel and rhythm & blues, and a message centered on equality, acceptance, and love, soul music is credited as more than just one of the defining musical genres of our time – it is a movement unto itself, influencing everything from fashion and pop culture to art and language. Don’t miss this stirring, emotional, and profound musical experience that will touch the very depths of your soul.

Tuesday, Sept 16 – THE LION, THE WITCH AND THE WARDROVE at Niagara-On-The-Lake Shaw Festival
“Once a king or queen in Narnia, always a king or queen.”
Narnia returns! Step through the wardrobe and enter a magical world. Guided by the noble lion Aslan, four children – Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy – embark on a quest to free this enchanted land from the White Witch’s icy grip and restore peace to the kingdom. Filled with breathtaking battles, mythical creatures and unforgettable characters, this new adaptation of C.S. Lewis’ classic will delight the whole family. It’s a story about imagination, loyalty and what it takes to be a real hero.
