Entrepreneurial Essentials for Artists

If someone asked, “Can you make a living from your art?”, what would you say?

Success as a creative isn’t just about talent – it’s about knowing how to navigate the business side of your craft. Whether you’re an artist, writer, designer, or performer, understanding how to think like an entrepreneur, network strategically and protect your work (and income) can open doors and sustain your career.

But where do you start? How do you balance creativity with business savvy? How do you build meaningful professional connections? What should you watch for in contracts? This session answers these questions with practical tools designed specifically for creatives.

Specific learning outcomes include understanding:

  • How to confidently navigate the business side of your creative career
  • How to network effectively as a creative (without feeling transactional)
  • The key elements of contracts and how to protect your work
  • How to use values and design thinking to business strategy
  • The fundamentals of thinking like an entrepreneur while staying true to your craft

This workshop is ideal for artists, creatives, and cultural workers. We’ll also have time set aside for schmoozing so you can connect with fellow Jewish creatives.

Free, registration required. Click here to register.

Light refreshments will be served. Kashrut observed.
