Join internationally renowned novelist and Academy Award-winning screenwriter John Irving for a special screening of The Cider House Rules, the acclaimed film adaptation of his bestselling novel.

Before the film, Irving will take the stage to introduce the story and reflect on bringing his novel to the screen. He’ll share insights into the film’s themes, the adaptation process and its journey from page to production, along with behind-the-scenes stories from the making of the movie.

Released in 1999, The Cider House Rules received seven Academy Award nominations, including Best Picture, with Irving winning the Oscar for Best Adapted Screenplay.
