Discover the transformative power of words in this writing workshop inspired by Natalia Romik’s thought-provoking exhibition, Plague Crystals. Romik’s captivating sculptures are towers of repurposed crystal vessels containing objects symbolic of contemporary plagues. For more about the exhibition, click here.

This workshop—led by Josh Heuman, Head of Artistic Engagement at Koffler Arts—invites participants to explore their experiences and perceptions of modern-day challenges such as pandemics, societal upheavals, and environmental crises. We will write prose or poetry in response to three writing prompts, encourages participants to share their “first drafts,” and receive feedback about what impacts other participants the most.
