Local Testimony Exhibition

October 1–30

Local Testimony is an annual exhibition by Israel’s leading photojournalists capturing pivotal moments in Israeli society. This year’s exhibition invites us to witness life in Israel during profoundly difficult times. These photographs capture moments of pain, resilience, and humanity, focusing their lenses on the struggles and strengths of everyday people.

A curated selection of photos from Local Testimony will be on display at the Miles Nadal Jewish Community Centre from October 1–30. In partnership with the MNjcc, the New Israel Fund of Canada (NIFC) is offering several opportunities to engage with this collection:

  • Visit the Gallery: Public display all October in the MNJCC main floor gallery (no registration required).
  • Opening Presentation: October 9 at 8:00 PM, with curator Dana Wohlfeiler Lalkin and award-winning photographer Avishag Shaar Yashuv. Register here.
  • Guided Tours: October 9 & 10 at 10:00am and 12:00pm. Sign up here.
