Holocaust Education Week lecture

Guest speaker: Stav Meishar, multidisciplinary stage artist and educator

This fascinating virtual lecture focuses on the true stories of the lives of Jewish circus artists in Germany circa 1880-1945, and combines photos from personal albums, recorded testimonies and stories collected over seven years of extensive research.

Additionally, Stav Meishar, a circus artist and academic, will present excerpts from “The Escape Act”, her one-woman show based on one of the stories she uncovered – that of a Jewish acrobat who survived the Holocaust hiding in a German circus.
