Get ready to NOSH! Micah is a trained chef and registered dietitian specializing in modern Jewish cuisine. Her new cookbook, “Nosh: Plant Forward Recipes Celebrating Modern Jewish Cuisine,” draws inspiration from history through a 21st-century lens.

The Cookbook is available when you purchase your ticket and at the event.

More about Micah

Micah Siva is a registered dietitian and trained chef specializing in modern Jewish cuisine. After obtaining a Certificate of Culinary Arts from the Natural Gourmet Institute in New York, she completed her dietetic education and training in Canada and the U.K. Through her personal blog, Nosh with Micah, she shares Jewish-inspired, plant-forward recipes with a focus on whole foods. Micah’s robust knowledge of nutrition and culinary arts helps her develop recipes that taste delicious within dietary guidelines, parameters and requirements. She is a contributor to EatingWell, Simply Recipes, Tablet Magazine, J News, VegNews and San Diego Jewish Journal.

Lauren Levy is an avid home cook and mom of 4. She has set out to make easy, uncomplicated, and approachable recipes that *most* of her kids, enjoy. She focuses on gluten-free dishes to accomodate her son who was diagnosed with celiac disease at 1. In addition to cooking – Lauren also has worked on a number of charitable and fundraising initiatives for breast cancer awareness, food security organizations and international humanitarian relief efforts. She is also the former co-owner of the retail brand Ani+Wren and host of the Goods Podcast.
