HEW 2021: Opening Night

Andrew Marantz is a journalist who writes about technology, social media, and the alt-right for The New Yorker. He is the author of Antisocial: Online Extremists, Techno-Utopians, and the Hijacking of the American Conversation. His work has also appeared in Harper’s, New York Magazine, Mother Jones, and the New York Times.

Erin Sylvester is the Acting Managing Editor and former Head of Research for The Walrus. Her work has been published in The Walrus, The Ryerson Review of Journalism, Torontoist, and the Calgary Herald.

Dr. Robert Williams is Deputy Director for International Affairs at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, on the steering committee of the Global Task Force on Holocaust Distortion, and served for four years as chair of the Committee on Antisemitism and Holocaust Denial at the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance.
