Koffler Arts is excited to be co-presenting Hollywood Exiles with The ARC Ensemble (Artists of The Royal Conservatory). The ensemble along with soprano Elena Howard Scott (who sang the rôle of Hélène in the Koffler Arts\RCM production of  The Journal of Hélène Berr this past winter) will perform music by Miklós Rózsa a Jewish Hungarian-American composer who fled Europe and re-settled in Hollywood.

Composed of the senior faculty of The Royal Conservatory’s Glenn Gould School, the three-time Grammy Award nominated ARC Ensemble is among Canada’s most distinguished cultural ambassadors. Its focus remains the research and recovery of works that were suppressed and marginalized under the 20th century’s repressive regimes.
