An enchanting outdoor community Havdalah experience with curated chamber music, Israeli flavours and storytelling.

Category

An enchanting Saturday night event that begins with a community Havdalah experience led by Cantor Jeremy Burko from Beth Radom Synagogue. This unique service will be the first of its kind, taking place outside in the Honey & Barry Community Park at the Prosserman JCC as the sun sets to end Shabbos.

A circle stage in the middle of the park is covered by string lights above – providing a starry sky. A mix of cozy blankets, pillows, soft seating and coffee tables surround the stage for you to relax and listen to the sounds of the Dior Quartet. Share plates of indulgent treats, ice cream, cookies, cheesecake, and other delightful bites, paired perfectly with ice wines, coffee, and tea. Let the music and atmosphere fill your soul.

The Honey & Barry Community Park will look beautiful under the stars. Shirat HaLaya brings two different congregations together, plus JCC and Jewish community families from across the GTA. This is a way to bring traditional service together with unique original experiences.
