Dr. May Cohen and her husband ran a successful and popular medical practice in Toronto until 1977. Dr. Cohen became a powerful advocate for women’s health and the advancement of women physicians. This documentary, selected as an audience favourite at 2019 TJFF, celebrates her life and radical achievements.
Join us at 4:00 pm on Sunday November 29 for a special live Zoom Q & A with Drs. May Cohen, Barbara Lent and Cheryl Levitt.

On Saturday November 28, before 7:00 pm, ticket holders will be sent a link with a password to watch the film until Sunday November 29 at 9:00 pm. You can start and stop the film until that time. On Sunday November 29 before 3:00 pm, ticket holders will be emailed a Zoom Link to watch the live Q & A with Dr. May Cohen, and directors Cheryl Levitt and Barbara Lent. The Q & A begins at 4:00 pm. To watch, you must have Zoom downloaded. This live event will be a Q & A that will be partially in Yiddish!
