As an employee of the Miles Nadal JCC (MNjcc), the Manager of Suzuki Music Programs will report to the Senior Director, Arts and Cultural Experiences. The Manager of Suzuki Music Programs is responsible for administrative duties for the Suzuki Families, Instructors, in collaboration with MNjcc operational processes.

Schedule:

· 20 administrative hours per week

· Onsite Tuesdays, 4-7:30pm, September – June

· Onsite for Suzuki Summer Music & Arts Camp (July 5-10, 2026), 8:30am-5:30pm.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Program Development & Implementation

· Create curriculum, class descriptions, correspondence letters, and meeting agendas.

· Create year-round season and schedule of classes, concerts, special events, meetings

· Coordinate class assignments/levels/rooms with Suzuki Instructors.

· Liaise with the Suzuki Vision & Steering Committee monthly.

· Liaise with the room bookings coordinator to book the rooms needed for the year.

· Liaise with the MNjcc Marketing Department for promotion requests

Community Engagement & Outreach

· Answer phone and email inquiries within two business days. Certain situations may require doing so during vacation times.

· Recruit for and promote the MNjcc community Suzuki Early Childhood music program.

Event & Project Management

· Organize the Music Faculty Party in September in coordination with the other MNjcc music staff.

· Organize the Annual Open House in September for new and prospective families.

· Communicate with Suzuki faculty regarding quarterly meetings, recitals, and concert prep.

· Attend solo and graduation recitals, winter, and year-end concerts (held in-person on Tuesdays evenings at JCC).

· Attend monthly Suzuki Vision & Steering Committee meetings, Suzuki teachers’ meetings, new parent orientation sessions, quarterly MNjcc all-staff meetings, professional development, and MNjcc Community Dept Programmers meetings (held both virtually and in-person).

· Meet with MNjcc supervisor bi-weekly.
