Together with our partners, join the Toronto Holocaust Museum for a unique Tisha B’Av experience to observe the Jewish day of sorrow.

Tisha B’Av (the 9th of the month of Av) is observed as a day of mourning for the destruction of the two ancient temples in Jerusalem. On this day, we also commemorate other tragedies throughout Jewish history, including the Holocaust. Through collective grief, remembrance, and reflection, we work to overcome the baseless hatred and divisions that contributed to the destruction of the Second Temple and the exile of the Jewish people.

Visit the Museum throughout the day for a special experience highlighting the importance of bearing witness to the Holocaust and the tragedies of Tisha B’Av. A short film will be screened in the Museum’s theatre at 11:00 AM and 3:00 PMPlease select your viewing timeslot upon checkout. More details about the film coming soon.
