Ever thought of dipping your toe into the fun world of improvised comedy? If so, then this class is for you!
You can’t Passover the opportunity to see Chaverim in Toronto. This international ensemble of cantorial singers plays Klezmer, Yiddish, Swing, Gypsy, Jazz, R&B, Israeli, Russian, Hungarian, and Polish Music.
The name Chaverim in Yiddish and Hebrew means Friends. These amazing performers are friends in their everyday life and especially on the stage. You will be convinced immediately, from the first song, that they know how to listen to one another, and how to build a perfect ensemble.
The group started to perform actively in 2011. Chaverim has performed in synagogues, Jewish Centers, and concert halls including Carnegie Hall, Merkin Hall, Lincoln Center in New York, and Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. just to mention a few.
