Explore the role women have played in building a thriving Jewish community in Ontario over the last century and a half.

In celebration of the WOMEN+ exhibition, currently installed at Baycrest inside The Ronald and Nancy Kalifer Culture Hub, Dara Solomon, the Executive Director at the Ontario Jewish Archives, will be giving a lecture, followed with a Q&A period.

Dara will explore the role women have played in building a thriving Jewish community in Ontario over the last century and a half. From the war effort to the labour movement, and from domestic life to cultural and athletic involvement; this presentation will celebrate the richness of the community’s heritage and evoke nostalgia for those who attend.

We look forward seeing you online for this exciting lecture and Q&A event! Running time approximately: 1 hour including Q&A period.
