Direct from London, UK, Daniel brings us the full portion of his songs, laughter, and heartbreakingly beautiful story

Last year we got a little taste of Daniel, and this year JMW has brought him back for the full plate!

“You don’t have to be Jewish or British to get a kick out of Cainer’s shtick,” says the LA Times, but you do have to like beautiful music, virtuoso piano-playing and brilliant lyrics. Smart, funny, timely and moving, Cainer’s story-songs are about all our families and foibles. He is an extraordinary performer, his show is both devastatingly poignant and laugh-out-loud funny. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry – what’s not to like? Fasten your seatbelts – it’s a wild ride with Daniel!

Daniel Cainer is a British songwriter, storyteller, and broadcaster known for his warm, intelligent, funny explorations of Jewish life, family, and identity. He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe for over 20 years and enjoyed seven off-Broadway runs in New York. His music has been featured in dramas and documentaries and his more contemplative songs are regularly sung by Cantors in synagogues across North America. He is a four-time Manhattan Association of Cabarets Award nominee and has performed countless topical songs on BBC Radio and TV. www.danielcainer.com
