Join us for a Parent Info Night for interested or inquiring parents. This is our 31st season of certified instruction in violin, viola, and cello! Alongside group classes, students may select from a variety of enrichment classes from Bow Fitness to Klezmer!.

Uke can do it!
Sometimes called the world’s friendliest instrument, the ukulele has a happy, joyful tone that makes it a delight to play. A portable, social instrument, perfect for parlour cabarets, talent shows, and family gatherings. In-person beginner and intermediate classes are available.
It’s time to celebrate with conductor Harriet Wichin
We invite all previous choir members to join this ensemble to pay tribute to our J’s 70th anniversary! Conducted by Harriet Wichin, this choir will rehearse We Rise Again, Make You Feel My Love and Hallelujah. Rehearsals will take place over six evenings with a performance /recording. All proceeds benefit the music scholarship fund.
Are strings your thing?
Our Mixed String Ensemble is for adults who wish to reconnect and explore string music (violin, viola, or cello). Through a variety of ensemble pieces, we will explore Suzuki group class ideas, build ensemble skills, and examine concepts for left hand and bowing.

Join the Klezmer revival
Jam with director Eric Stein and connect to Jewish music in this inspiring chamber group. All levels of instrumentalists are welcome for this in-person program. You will develop solid arranging and ensemble playing skills while experiencing the joy of making music together!

Introduce your little ones to music!
Bring your tiniest tots to a fun and engaging 45-minute music class with Suzuki early childhood specialist Kate Shaner. No experience? No problem! We welcome parents and caregivers of all levels and abilities.

A new choral program!
The MNjcc is proud to partner with My Pop Choir to be its first downtown location. When you join My Pop Choir it will quickly become the highlight of your week. Rehearsals are in-person with the option to “hop” over to the virtual choir if you are unable to attend. Participants will have access to charts, vocal tracks, and instrumental tracks. There is no pressure to perform. We will all sing for the love of singing! Conductor: Alex Fiddes
