Join the Toronto Holocaust Museum for a conversation with author Michael Frank. Over the course of six years, Frank interviewed 100-year-old Stella Levi, a Holocaust survivor from the Mediterranean island of Rhodes, culminating in the publication of One Hundred Saturdays. Beautifully illustrated by Maira Kalman, Frank skillfully brings Levi’s remarkable story to life, depicting the vibrant world of prewar Jewish Rhodes, the eventual deportation to Auschwitz that decimated most of her community, and Levi’s resilience and wisdom. Frank will share highlights from these conversations and the unique friendship that formed between the two.

Moderated by Avi Finegold and Phoebe Maltz Boy, the co-hosts of Bonjour Chai, a podcast from The Canadian Jewish News.
