Koffler Arts is Hiring: Senior Manager of Development

Start Date: Monday, June 15, 2026

Salary:  $65 – $75,000, commensurate with experience   

Location: Toronto, Ontario

Position: Full-Time

Looking to make a meaningful difference in the Toronto arts scene and beyond? Working collaboratively with the General Director, the Board of Directors, the Director of External Relations, as well as other staff and volunteers, the Manager of Development is responsible for designing and implementing Koffler Arts individual, corporate and foundation fundraising strategies, as well as managing overall donor data services and stewardship.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Conceiving and implementing a clear strategy for developing corporate, foundation, and private donations
  • Working hand-in-hand with senior management and Board on the annual campaign and other project-specific fundraising campaigns throughout the year
  • Data gathering and management for all donors, including working with accounting to  effectively manage cash flow, tax documentation and other key financial matters related  to donor contributions
  • Stewardship of major donors, individual, corporate and foundations 
  • Coordination with the grant-writing activities for government and foundation support and maintaining reporting requirements for grants
  • Maintaining clear calendar, database, CRM and budgets regarding all aspects of development and fundraising including strategic metrics and analysis

Qualifications:  

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience in a similarly senior role within an arts organization, or successful not-for-profit enterprise
  • CFRE designation preferred
  • Strong corporate network and expertise in the Toronto philanthropic arts community
  • The capacity to work in a small team with wide-ranging responsibilities, including managing multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience in donor relations and management, including with Boards and major donors
  • A well-honed practice of financial and data management
  • Experience in event management for key fundraising events
  • A goal-oriented nature
  • An excellent command of English, written and oral
  • A strong desire to help an adventuresome arts organization grow nationally and internationally
