Travel the world with Film Bites, a new international screening series.

To kick off the series, we will travel to Argentina with the The Last Suit.

This charming road movie delivers an uplifting message about life, family and the kindness of strangers. Abraham Bursztein, an octogenarian tailor, is a man determined to not be put out to pasture. His children have sold his house and registered him in a retirement home, but he has other plans for his future. Intent on finding the man who saved his life years ago, Abraham leaves Buenos Aires and heads to Poland, with a little help from an assortment of eccentric people he meets along the way.

After the film, you can sink your teeth into a discussion with fellow guest cinephiles moderated by TJFF staff.
