SABBATH QUEEN, a feature documentary filmed over 21 years, follows Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie on an epic journey as the dynastic heir of 38 generations of Orthodox rabbis, including the Chief Rabbis of Israel. Torn between rejecting and embracing his destiny, Amichai becomes a drag-queen rebel, a queer bio-dad, and the founder of Lab/Shul — an everybody-friendly, God-optional, artist-driven, pop-up experimental congregation.

Following the screening, join us for a special panel discussion featuring Rabbi Amichai Lau-Lavie, followed by a meet and greet reception with drinks.

General admission to the film and panel discussion is $25. Student tickets are $18.

Tickets including access to the meet and greet reception are $54.
