Type of Exhibition: Heritage, History, Toronto

Jewish Toronto’s Restaurants Take Centre Stage
Jewish food has long been a source of comfort, connection, and spirited debate. This exhibit highlights the restaurants that shaped Toronto’s Jewish community—bagel shops, delis, bakeries, and eateries that became landmarks in their own right.

Created by Beth Tzedec’s Reuben & Helene Dennis Museum Committee, the display uncovers a story that’s richer and more varied than many realize.

Visit The Gallery at the J to explore decades of flavours and memories that helped define Jewish Toronto.
