Yahav Winner and Shaylee Atary were a married couple and gifted artists who collaborated on each other’s work; Winner produced some of Atary’s films while Atary edited some of his and acted in Winner’s film Deep Breaths. Winner was tragically assassinated in Kibbutz Kfar Aza during the October 7th Hamas attack while heroically trying to protect his wife and their one-month-old baby.

Professor Ariel Schweitzer will present three films on which Winner and Atary worked together: The Boy, Deep Breaths and Neurim, which premiered at the Cinéfondation in the 2020 Cannes Festival.
