Academy Award Winning editor, Paul Hirsch shares his journey of editing A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back, two of the most influential fandom movies. His career spans decades of influential film editing from Ferris Bueller’s Day off, Steel Magnolias, Falling Down and Mission Impossible, to name just a few.
Paul will be joined by Rabbi Steve Wernick from Beth-Tzedec Synagogue and Jared Golberg, Director of the Virtual JCC in a Star Wars Day Exclusive interview as they discuss Paul’s new Book ‘A long time ago in a cutting room far, far away‘. The stream will also dive into the parallels of storytelling between Judaism and the Star Wars universe.
