A weekly sing-along class for all ages and abilities, bringing you the greatest hits of the Jewish songbook from the comfort of your couch!
Song and music are essential parts of Jewish life. Every feast, gathering and celebration has songs that complement and even elevate the occasion. These melodies may be second nature to those brought up in a Jewish tradition: however they can feel unknown, intimidating and possibly even alienating to those newly entering into these communities.

At Jewish Mixtape we will learn a new song each week from the Jewish Canon for traditional and social purposes. Each song will be demonstrated in full, then taught to mixtape participants with explanations, context and a history of each piece. Accompanied by guitar and piano, we will learn, understand, sing and make music together.
