The new Toronto Holocaust Museum opened in June 2023. We believe that high impact Holocaust education is relevant to the world we live in today and can inspire discussion and behavioral change around contemporary antisemitism and all forms of hate. This is an opportunity to work in a brand-new state-of-the-art institution and the first Holocaust Museum in Canada designed for the post-survivor period. 

Education Manager
The Education Manager will develop and deliver relevant workshops and professional development seminars and related materials for educators in Holocaust Education. Reporting to the Director of Museum Experience and collaborating with the Museum Educators, Education Administrator and volunteers to ensure each group visit is a transformative experience.

Museum Educator
The Museum Educator will engage groups in discussion-based programming that unpacks the lessons of the Holocaust in meaningful and relevant ways for today’s learners. S/He will have the ability to teach and lead a variety of groups ranging in age from upper elementary to high school from a diversity of backgrounds including public, Catholic, private and Jewish day schools; and adult groups.

Administrative Assistant
The Toronto Holocaust Museum is seeking an Administrative Assistant responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the department through coordination with the broader THM team, other UJA departments, external partners, and lay leaders.

Operations Coordinator
The Operations Coordinator will ensure the smooth daily operational functions of the Museum in regards (but not limited) to the galleries, museum technology, front-of-house, and online ticketing system. Reporting to the Manager of Collections, Gallery and Volunteers, the Operations Coordinator will also work closely with volunteers, the Museum Experience team and other UJA departments including IT, Security, Building Operations and our Jewish Community Centre (JCC) partners.
