Koffler Arts is a multi-disciplinary cultural platform that explores critical ideas and concerns of our time through exhibitions, live performance, literary events, publications and digital initiatives. Reporting to the Director of External Relations and Head of Artistic Engagement, the Communications and Outreach Coordinator is a key member of the Koffler Arts team, coordinating communications plans, outreach activities, and public programming.
In collaboration with the Director of External Relations:
- Coordinate exhibition openings, including compiling invitation lists and sending out key information to partners
- Manage social media accounts, presence and postings
- Manage general inquiries inboxes, responding to questions about exhibitions, events/programs, and group visits (see below)
- Coordinate with the Director of External Relations to ensure messaging is in line with Koffler Arts style, voice, etc.
- Design promotion materials for artistic engagement activities
- Update the Koffler Arts website as well as online event boards with key information about exhibitions and events/programs
- Create accounts receivable and/or submit accounts payable invoices related to events/programs and track budgets
- Coordinate with photographers and videographers to book dates and receive files in a timely manner
- Other communications duties as assigned
