The Kultura Collective is part of the CANVAS network.

As a grantee, we are sharing a survey CANVAS is leading to capture the experiences of artists, arts patrons, and cultural workers to better understand how they have navigated the past 18 months in the context of their Jewish identity.

Please complete the survey online by February 23, 2025. Your participation is deeply appreciated.

CANVAS is a funding and field-building collaborative that seeks to encourage, support, and promote a 21st century Jewish cultural renaissance. Their mission of elevating the ecosystem of Jewish arts and culture in North America is best achieved when we truly understand the opportunities and challenges facing professional artists and creatives.

If you are a North American artist, writer, dancer, curator, filmmaker, comedian, presenter, arts leader, or other type of cultural worker, we are asking:

How has your creative work been impacted since October 7, 2023?

We have seen great changes in the cultural landscape over the past 18 months and we believe that we, as a creative community, have an important story to tell.

In this survey, the first of its kind, CANVAS is reaching out to creatives across North America to better understand how they have navigated the past 18 months in the context of their Jewish identity, or the Jewish themes explored in their work.

This survey is anonymous, and the results will be used to alert all stakeholders – community leaders, patrons, presenting organizations, funders, and the broader public – to the pressing needs of the field.
