Black Honey: The Poetic Life of Abraham Sutzkever, 2018

January 27, 2025 is International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

On J-Flix, TJFF’s free online archive, you can find our growing WWII and the Holocaust playlist; a curated selection of films that we’ve shared throughout the Toronto Jewish Film Foundation’s 33 years of presenting Jewish stories on screen. Including new additions like the Oscar-nominated Letter to a Pig and the acclaimed documentary Black Honey: The Poetic Life of Abraham Sutzkever, we hope this playlist can be a way to reflect on and engage with the themes of this important day through the power of film.

J-Flix is a FREE digital initiative of the Toronto Jewish Film Foundation showcasing the rich legacy of Jewish content films from Canada’s leading presenter for almost 30 years. Over 100 curated titles are available for streaming including documentaries, feature length narratives, shorts, along with beloved archival films – all of which represent the global and inclusive flavour of TJFF programming.

Register for J-Flix for free on j-flix.com. Film selections available on J-Flix include these tiles, and more!
